Name: John Raper
Location: Grimsby, North Lincolnshire
Drives: Tiger Cat E1 in blue with aluminium sides

Comments: John bought his Cat E1 in June 2004 as a part built, rolling chassis. He decided that he wanted to upgrade the car on the build as it was then. He took the car apart and started the build again and built the car as he wanted it to be.This was done in his single garage at home. Its powered by a standard 2Ltr Pinto engine from a 1987 Sierra which was fitted with a new cam before fitting to the Tiger. The carb is a 32/36 DGAS. The braking system is fantastic with new discs, calipers and pads all round, and with LSD she grips the road like glue. The car was Sva'd in March 2006 and John has tried to get as much driving in before he took it off road for the winter. He plans to do various upgrades over the winter with new seats, petrol tank and roll bars being on the agenda.
